Bought this PDA to use with the Anquet Pocket PC map software, Anquet sell the same one on their website, but ordered from Amazon as it was quiet a bit cheaper! The PDA worked fine straight from the box, when I loaded the mapping software I also had to update some of the Microsoft software on the PDA, this easy enough to do via the Anquet software. The built in GPS only works, far as I've been able to tell, through the mapping software, doesn't work like as a stand alone unit. Overall very happy with the unit, good value for money.
